During
the 1500's many thought works were needed to get to heaven. A few great
teachers pointed out the truth, God loved us and sent His Son, Jesus the
Messiah, to die as a substitute for our sins....and raised Him from the dead.
Anyone who believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
What about after you have an eternal relationship with God through trust in
Jesus the Messiah? As a believer, we no longer have to walk in the dark.
Pastor Thieme has shown us that God has provided 1 John 1:9, "If we confess
our sins [to God the Father], He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins,
and to cleanse us from all wrongdoing." With all of your known
sins acknowledged to God the Father in prayer, you are walking in the light
and in fellowship with God. You are now able to learn all the benefits of
being a believer in the Lord Jesus!
